Satellite Connectivity  is largely perffered for delivering voice, data and communication services in hard-to-reach areas. This basically means that this system allows for higher data transfer rate and, therefore, superior performance.

However, it is also important to note tat lower frequency solutions tend to be less susceptible to interference from adverse weather, or what is better known as “rain fade” in the industry. As Ka-band are right at the top of the commercially available frequency range, trying to maintain its availability can be a bit complex task. People must carefully go through the pros and cons of both the frequencies to select the ideal one for their system.  Apart from these two, VSAT C band is also quite popular.
