  VSAT (Very Small Aperture Terminal) is pretty commonly used to provide  Satellite Connectivity in Africa . These satellite terminals are of normally fixed, bidirectional use and have reflectors ranging between 75 cm and 1.2 meters on average. Traditionally, it was only implemented in  VSAT C  band (4 and 6 GHz) and (4 and 6 GHz) and then Ku-band (12 and 14 GHz). Today is also offered in Ka band (20 and 31 GHz).
