An overview of the usage of Ku-band for internet connectivity in Africa

Stable internet connectivity has become a need of the house. People across the world look for the most effective ways and methods to get seamless internet connectivity 24x7. While getting a stable internet connection can seem to be pretty easy for people living in large cities and towns, there are many remote areas where a typical broadband connection is not able to work. Ku-band is one of the tools used to provide internet connections in remote regions, where broadband is not available.   This system involves the usage of much more cost-effective equipment than most bands, including the C-band.   Many of the providers of satellite connectivity in Africa use this system to make internet available in the remote forests and jungles of the continent. Ku-band basically is a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum that utilizes an approximate range of 12-18GHz of radiofrequency. It falls somewhere in the middle when it comes to its frequency and has a mid-range bandwidth. A lot of c
